Play Fair
A downloadable game
About the Game
Play Fair is a short solo journaling game/zine where you decipher a message from a mysterious sender.
To decrypt the messages, you will need to use the Playfair Cipher. This is the video where I learned how to use it, but there are plenty of tutorials online in many formats (there are even free online decoders if code-cracking isn't your jam).
From the Creator
Hi! This game is my very first solo ttrpg! It was created out of a strong desire to decode ciphers and a desperate need to finish something that wasn't related to work.
I was inspired to try to make a thing after a summer of playing (solo) TTRPGs from AMAZING creators like:
Jeeyon Shim (especially Old as the Sky, Old as the Moon)
Tim Hutchings (especially Thousand Year Old Vampire)
Tamsin Bloom (especially Healer)
Kate Bullock (especially Prize)
(Seriously if you're reading this go buy their games)
